“Growing up, I often heard stories of how my mom and her friends lived their lives while in their twenties. My mom was a part of a like-minded community who did life together. They went to church, served in ministry, fellowshipped at each other’s houses, traveled across the country, and some even lived together at times. They were heavily involved in each other’s lives and each of their lives greatly benefitted from being a part of that community. Hearing about my mother’s experiences instilled in me the importance of community.
Life, in general, is not meant to be walked alone, especially in the Christian life. We need each other for accountability, for prayer, and for being still with each other when life gets challenging. Being a part of a TC group has provided me with that – a safe space to discuss any questions about God or Christianity, to reflect on the faithfulness of God through hearing the testimonies of other believers, and to have genuine fun without fear of being pressured to do anything worldly. Surrounding yourself with people who are walking with God will strengthen your faith journey. My mother can attest to this; after joining a TC group, so can I.” -Quinn
As we grow in God’s story, it’s important to connect with other Transformers. TC Groups provide space beyond Sunday mornings for us to grow Upward, Inward, and Outward. We want everyone to be a part of a TC Group that studies the Bible and prays, shares life and encourages one another, and loves others well. Register for our TC Groups Kickoff happening on Tuesday, January 23.
