“I started serving with TC Kids because I have a calling. God has given me gifts to present and use humor to connect with kids. At one point I had disqualified myself because I didn’t think the kids would listen to me, but God helped me to see that it’s not about me. Once I finally gave it a try, I said, “Wow, God has given me these gifts and now I get to give them back to Him.” I was taught about God’s Word from a young age, and now I have the opportunity to give back and teach kids about God’s Word, God’s love, and how they can use their gifts, talents, and passions to help others as well.
Serving has transformed me by helping me to have gratitude for the gifts God has given me and for allowing to see what others are going through and how to help them. It’s allowed me to continue growing not only as a person but as a parent. My son went through TC Kids and now as a teen he serves with me.
